Little Big Man
Jaisalmer, India
Immersed in a centuries-old way of life — raising camels and conducting camel safaris in the Indian desert — this young boy exhibits astonishing control and command over beasts that are more than twice his height and nearly thirty times his weight. But like all children, he has his daily chores, such as washing the evening supper dishes with the one thing the desert has plenty of — sand. Nevertheless, he is still quick to play frisbee with his kufi and to show off the little English he knows, singing John Denver’s "Country Road".
